Roll-A-Rack, a solar rack ballast solution, will be exhibiting its first portable roll forming machine in October at its Solar Power International 2020 virtual showroom.
The new roll forming machine is manufactured by Roll-A-Rack manufacturing partner New Tech Machinery of Denver, Colorado.
Like seamless gutters that are cut to length at each installation site using a portable roll forming machine, Roll-A-Rack manufactures custom solar mounts on site and upon request. The new system is designed to simplify the solar rack supply chain, eliminate waste and reduce installation time.
“Roll-A-Rack delivers a solar panel manufacturing plant to every installation site,” said Don Scipione, president and founder of the company. “There are significant savings in time, time and material costs, and the system adjusts to all these inevitable last-minute design changes.”
